Our fee structure has recently changed to reflect the growth of our practice.
For a 45-minute session:
Licensed Therapist – $100
Masters Level Therapist – $65
Intern Therapist – Sliding Fee Scale
There is a 25% cash discount if you are seeing a licensed therapist and not submitting to insurance. We have established relationships with a number of churches in the area, if you are in need of financial assistance you may be able to contact your local church; We would be happy to network with your pastor and church.
Our licensed therapists are currently contracted with Highmark, Capital Blue Cross, Geisinger (Optum), Aetna, UPMC, Tricare. More may be added.
If you are seeing a master’s level therapist, here are a few things to consider:
First you should check your copay and deductible for your mental health coverage. You may also have the option to submit for reimbursement for an out-of-network provider. We would encourage you to contact your insurance provider to inquire. We can provide you with an insurance Superbill which you will use to submit to your insurance company.
An additional factor to consider is that any therapist can not bill your insurance unless there is a diagnosed disorder. The vast majority of insurances do not cover marriage therapy unless it is to treat an underlying, diagnosed disorder. Also keep in mind, once an insurance claim is submitted, that diagnosis becomes a part of your over all medical record.
For sessions scheduled after 4pm:
To schedule appointments after 4:00pm, you must pay the full agreed upon session fee prior to your appointment. If you cancel or reschedule this appointment without a week’s notice, it is non-refundable. Outside of a week’s notice, your fee is still non-refundable.
However, if you reschedule with a week’s notice, you may transfer this fee to your next appointment.
This policy applies to weekday as well as weekend appointments.
